Hello everyone.

My name is Jonathan. I was born, raised, and is currently located on a city 126 Km. northwest of Manila. It is a city known for its duty free shops, G.I. Joes, PX goods, beautiful bitches beaches, strict implementation of traffic rules, and one of the last few remaining patches of rainforest estate in the Philippines.

I spend most of my day working my arse off in front of the computer for the past 2 and a half years now since my college professors at UP got sick of me and finally gave me the rights to frame and display a diploma which to my surprise is smaller than a short kopon bond. And then it occurred to me, I don’t own and maintain a blog!

Almost (or most of the times, more than) 12 hours a day of Internet time logged by my ISP - without a boss peeking behind my back - definitely gives me a lot of time to read everything that interests me. No, I’m not trying to beat Google’s search spider, Googlebot. And yes, I technically don’t have a boss because I work as an independent IT consultant.

And just to preempt the evil thoughts that could be forming on your brain cells right now, no, I don’t leisurely surf the net when there’s a client project that’s waiting to be finished. Paminsan minsan lang.

I put up this website to serve as a listing of the kewl things (or those which I find to be kewl, I’m sorry to those who object) that I come across while under the spell of the magical incantations of the Internet.

But obviously, as the name of my site suggests, content won’t be limited to those from the Internet. From time to time, I’ll pepper this blog with any topic that is of relevance to the Philippine society; or even irrelevant ones like something about the Queen of England.

By the way, for those who are not from the Philippines and have been wondering what Greek-Alien-Dolphin language combo it is written in, well it is not. At Iba Pa is a Filipino phrase and its loose translation in English is Etcetera.

Luckily, they both have the same meaning so I guess that saves me from further explanation.
